Sorry this is a bit late, as everyone is already out of the Christmas mode as it comes to NYE! I didn't want to leave it any later, so this will be my last post for 2012. Can't believe the year is coming to an end, it went by so quickly, feels like just yesterday I was getting ready for last NYE. So yeah, here is my Christmas Eve & Day Makeup. I started out with this makeup during the day.... it isn't essentially a day time look but it was day enough for me :P We were in the city for Stereosonic (best day!!) but this was the day before were we got to go out to lunch & shopping with friends and we got to see our niece for the first time in ages! Day Makeup I did my eyes at home but finished with my foundation in the car, I was trying out a sample of the Garnier BB Cream, but as I put it on I realized it was a medium colour & a bit too dark & orange looking for me, but I blended & blended & added everything else and the colour didn't turn out too bad in the end. Unfortunately I couldn't open the packet properly and some splattered onto my strap :@ so I tried to rub it off but got lipstick on it too and made it even worse!!! *DOH* I took out my hair and kinda twisted the strap to hide it. Here I was getting over the flu, and I wasn't going to go out but I ended up doing so haha. I think winged eyeliner, false eyelashes & a bold lipstick can look so glamorous like this, like you've put in a lot of effort when you actually haven't, haha :) I put this over the top of my day makeup which involved just a neutral brown shade & smudged pencil eyeliner. All I really did was add a gold, more eyeliner & add the falsies. Eyes~ UD Naked- lid (during the day), Buck- Crease. I think there's also a hint of YDK in the inner corner. Sugarpill Goldilux on the middle of the lid over the top of Fyrianne Pixie Epoxy. Maybelline Master Precise eyeliner Random Asian false lashes On the lower lashline I used BYS gel eyeliner blended out with UD Blackout. & Covergirl lashblast length. I have barely any eyelashes there but this mascara helped make them stand out :) Cheeks were mainly bronzer, and maybe just a hint of some blush that I can't remember lol. Lips ...

To be honest, I wish I was more excited about Christmas. I guess it's not the same when your all growned up :( haha :P So I did this look inspired by this blogger here . Mine wasn't meant to be christmassy but I decided that it can be since I haven't done a festive look yet. However It's a copy more than an inspiration because I didn't want to change a thing.& I got compliments at work so I was happy with that :) Ugh I could go into many things I want to improve, like mainly the eyeliner. I didn't mean to make the gold so thick & as it came out I didn't clean my brush enough so it mixed into the black but ohwells.   I also didn't want the yellow to be too outrageous so I added just a hint of it, & I wish I blended right to the eyeliner so it looked cleaner. a tiny bit edited   And most importantly, the inspiration pic Haha that's enough of me picking out everything, here's what I used Eyes: TFSI NYX Milk JEP 120 palette: see picture...

Firstly, the update: Some of you may have read that I am doing a beauty traineeship... well I am actually starting next week!! So for the first few weeks I will still probably be working nights at my other job.. so I will finish early at the salon then go across town (luckily the town isn't too big haha) to that job & by the end of the day I will be exhausted!! But then I will be keeping only 2 nights at that place so it wont happen all the time.. but unfortunately for me it will be less time to blog & check out other blogs :( Anyhoo the other weekend we had to help with some makeup for a local fashion show!! It turned out to be plenty of other salons there as well to do makeup & a few people to do hair so we didn't do too many people. More talk of that at the end of the post.
