How to perfect your lipstick | Pictorial

Imagen
Sometimes just chucking on a lipstick isn't going to cut it, especially with some formulas that like to make their way over your face, or does that just happen to me? I've found that applying my lipstick this way, using different lip liners & doing it in different layers helps it to stay put & last a lot longer, too. This is not something that I do everyday but when I have time & I'm wearing a bolder lip colour I like to spend a bit more on the lips. 1. Line just outside of your natural lip line with a lip liner that is close to your natural colour if you prefer a fuller lip. Tip: If you're going for a nude lip, use a colour slightly darker than your lipstick. 2. Apply your lipstick of choice. It doesn't matter if you don't cover up the liner completely as we'll be going over that again. Make sure to really press your lips together to work the lipstick in. Tip: Use a lip brush with the first coat which helps the lipstic

Rosegold & Mossy Green Eyes //Spring FOTD

Imagen
Don't get me wrong, I do not have the pleasure of being in Spring but I kind of feel like it is with all of the spring-inspired makeup looks going around lately. If you can't tell I am quite big in "matching" my makeup to the seasons but I can easily forget which season I am actually in, especially when I barely see any autumny looks going around. Anyway, without meaning to on this day I was just applying my eyeshadow without really thinking of the outcome in the end, but I ended up with loving this combo! Although the eyes did not end up turning rose gold like they did in the jar, it still looked pretty. Paired with a very light blush and bolder lip added to the springy look.  This is also the same eyeshadow I was wearing in one of my swatches for the Maybelline One by One post. ~Products Face: Rimmel Wake Me Up & Bourjois Healthy Mix fdtn. Face of Australia Sheer Gloss Lip Crayons // Review & Swatches

Imagen
.If you are into sheer, moisturizing lip colours then Face of Australia Sheer Gloss Lip Crayons are for you. Packaged in a wind-able, chubby stick-like, well, stick, they are perfect to chuck in the bag for reapplication during the day without being a hassle. I apologize in advanced, as I was hesitant to post this as I found out they were limited edition afterwards but I still wanted to post my review & swatches.  Face of Australia Sheer Gloss Lip Crayons is a set of 3 glossy crayons, similar to Revlon's Lip Butters but in their Just Bitten Kissable Balm stains type packaging. There is a nice range of colours in this pack, Macaron which is a darker fuchsia pink, Cupcak e which is a light baby pink & Sundae, a brown-y nude colour. Depending on how much you apply you can get a subtle or a pigmented colour, while still being sheer. Although it is not long wearing it is quick & easy to apply another layer on the go. Packaging: Wind-able lip crayon where the packaging colou

Copy Cat Makeup // Dramatic Coloured FOTN

Is it fair to say I was "inspired" by Misschievious on Youtube when I pretty much copied her drugstore makeup tutorial ? And although I was drooling over the Sleek Lagoon palette she used, I knew I would have plenty of similar colours I could substitute them for. I love using a darker base underneath bright colours for a bright but smoky look, as done in my Jewel Smoky Eye Makeup , as it brings them out differently compared to a lighter base. And although this was a bored-on-a-saturday-night-playing-with-makeup-look it wasn't a waste of makeup as we ended up going out in the end. Maybelline One By One Mascara // Review + Comparison

Imagen
So a few weeks ago I posted about buying 2 new mascaras- Maybelline One By One & The Falsies. I decided to open One by One first as I already had a few volumizing mascaras on the go. It's funny though I've been able to find these 2 mascara's compared to each other a lot on the internet. I've been using it for almost a month so I wanted to share what I thought although it has been out for a while. My first impression of the mascara was something unusably noticeable, the scent. It is strong when it is opened & settles down when applied but would easily be a turn off for most people. Secondly the plastic bristles felt like they weren't combing through my eyelashes like it was just pushing them around. I found to make sure when applying to not only zigzag the wand but to curl it around so the brush would push right into the lashes, in order for my lashes to separate and lengthen. I do have to agree that it defines the eyelashes, however clumping is easy becau

Day To Night Makeup // Ft Wet n Wild Vanity Palette + Swatches

Imagen
I love posting day to night makeup looks, mainly because there are only a few elements that you need to change in order from it going to a wearable day time look to a sexy & smoky night time eye. Here I am "showcasing" the Wet n Wild Vanity palette. The decision to go out this night was last minute so I didn't have time to completely change it up so it was easy to intensify what I had on from the day.   Day  To me this day look is quite boring, not enough definition in the outer v, I kept the lower lash line almost bare with just a bit of eyeliner in the waterline & the eyeliner is not dark enough, personally. But it looked nice with the glowy cheeks & lips. Maybe I shouldn't say boring but it doesn't do anything special for me. I am really sorry but I cannot remember what I am wearing on the rest of my face! Apart from the usual foundation/ highlight/ bronzer. Night As I mentioned I didn't have too much time to change it up. Whenever I apply over

Boohoo.com // Clothing Haul

Imagen
A little while ago I ordered for the first time from Boohoo.com as they had a sale with clothing & accessories up to 75%. I see their ad on TV & in magazines all the time so I thought I would give it a go. I have only really just started ordering clothes online because they are something I'd prefer to try on first because sometimes when something looks good on the hanger it doesn't look as nice or is as flattering as what I thought, and my sizing can be iffy. I thought they were Australian, but as far as I know they are in the UK but they also have an Australian website, with free shipping to Australia. Most of their clothing is reasonably priced and you can always find items on special.   Wet look Aztec print skater skirt  I don't have anything like this, and I absolutely love the print on it. I'm not really sure what type of top to wear with this as I usually have to copy other styles to put an outfit together, what would you wear it with? I've seen lots o
