How to perfect your lipstick | Pictorial

 Sometimes just chucking on a lipstick isn't going to cut it, especially with some formulas that like to make their way over your face, or does that just happen to me? I've found that applying my lipstick this way, using different lip liners & doing it in different layers helps it to stay put & last a lot longer, too. This is not something that I do everyday but when I have time & I'm wearing a bolder lip colour I like to spend a bit more on the lips. 1. Line just outside of your natural lip line with a lip liner that is close to your natural colour if you prefer a fuller lip. Tip: If you're going for a nude lip, use a colour slightly darker than your lipstick. 2. Apply your lipstick of choice. It doesn't matter if you don't cover up the liner completely as we'll be going over that again. Make sure to really press your lips together to work the lipstick in. Tip: Use a lip brush with the first coat which helps the lipstic

More Christmas... Makeup & Nails

Sorry this is a bit late, as everyone is already out of the Christmas mode as it comes to NYE! I didn't want to leave it any later, so this will be my last post for 2012. Can't believe the year is coming to an end, it went by so quickly, feels like just yesterday I was getting ready for last NYE. So yeah, here is my Christmas Eve & Day Makeup. Christmas Eve I had been wearing very similar makeup all day for work, so I just touched up my foundation with a bit of Garnier BB Cream, added more blush & fixed the eyes.   I like how warm toned this picture turned out.  Quick Product Breakdown~ Cheeks: MAC Pink Swoon Eyes: BH Cosmetics Day & Night: Gold [inner lid], bronze [lid], shimmery taupe [crease] Lips: MAC Myth with a coral ligloss over the top [hadn't re-touched it for a few hours so it's worn off a fair bit]   My OOTN, this sequined top is by Ally fashion & is actually sheer so I wore a bandeau bra underneath. I felt it was nice & Christmassy :) I

My Christmas Goodies & Pictures

I hope everyone had a merry christmas & got everything they asked for! ^.^ I want to share a couple of beauty related goodies that I received. I received this adorable strawberry-heart shaped tin & almost died! I will most definitely find another use for it once I take the products out, which are from The Body Shop & includes the strawberry body polish (I used to use this years ago & loved it), 2 nail files, A High Shine Lip Treatment & a body butter. Everything smells delicious!  From my brother I got this Sex in the City body lotion & perfume pack, although I thought it was a board game until I opened it :P Each type (love, lust, kiss) has it's own smell which matches it's identidy. From my lovely partner (although I did pick it out :P) I got the VS Sassoon Big Hair Styler 1000, which is the newer model. I wanted it after seeing ChloeMorello use it & I thought since I wash my hair at night & it is still a bit damp in the morning, I can use

Everyday face products I use.

When I post my FOTD's I don't usually go into depth about how many & what products I use on my face so I wanted to make one that you can refer to if you wish. These products are a mixture of my HG's, products I'm trying to use up & new products that I have started to wear daily. Click here to view my current foundation routine. It looks like a lot more than what it is, really lol. Daily Makeup   Primer- I have been using the Face of Australia Face Base Primer for a while now & I've gone through probably about 3 bottles & I will continue to use it, as it is my HG primer. I love the way it makes my dry/dehydrated skin feel & helps my makeup to glide on smoothly. Sometimes I mix it with this Skin Lingerie Pore Cover (even though I don't really have apparent pores) however I don't know how much more longevity they give to my base because I don't want to go without it ;) FoA Face Base is clear while the Pore Cover has  a slight pearly
