How to perfect your lipstick | Pictorial

Sometimes just chucking on a lipstick isn't going to cut it, especially with some formulas that like to make their way over your face, or does that just happen to me? I've found that applying my lipstick this way, using different lip liners & doing it in different layers helps it to stay put & last a lot longer, too. This is not something that I do everyday but when I have time & I'm wearing a bolder lip colour I like to spend a bit more on the lips. 1. Line just outside of your natural lip line with a lip liner that is close to your natural colour if you prefer a fuller lip. Tip: If you're going for a nude lip, use a colour slightly darker than your lipstick. 2. Apply your lipstick of choice. It doesn't matter if you don't cover up the liner completely as we'll be going over that again. Make sure to really press your lips together to work the lipstick in. Tip: Use a lip brush with the first coat which helps the lipstic

Pin-up MU ft. Kate by Rimmel & Maybelline Master Precise

I have some products/ looks lining up & I have used 2 of them in this look to kill 2 birds in one stone, ha.
I have been searching high & low for these Kate lipsticks every time I see a Rimmel display & finally found them, but only chose one colour, so next time I think I want to buy a few more.
Also I have been wanting to try a new liquid eyeliner in a while, so I went with the Maybelline Master Precise e/l because the title is exactly what I wanted, haha. Anyway...

If I had more time I would have made my hair a bit nicer, but I had just washed it the night before and it wouldn't stay in place, plus I had to finish getting ready for work.

28 Neutral Palette for the eyes
Maybelline Master Precise e/l
Nyx milk JEP on waterline
Falsies would have been nice but I didn't want to make it too much for work.
CG Lashblast Fusion

Blush is Face of Australia in Outback Primrose.

I did use a lipliner, but it wasn't the sharpest so it kinda made the lipstick look like it was bleeding... but I used Nyx Bloom l/l & it matched pretty much perfectly. Also it last all morning, so about 5 hours I think that was mainly thanks to the lipliner, filling in l/s with a brush, then blotting & reapplying from the bullet.

This is a really gorgeous dark pink slightly reddish lipstick,as I said it lasted for quite a while but it depends how you apply it. I have a few similar colours but this is the most burgundy-y colour of what I have.

As you can see, the tip is verry fine, which is really good for drawing little pictures with your eyeliner (as shown in the ads) It is good to build up with a thicker line if you need too. I found this lasted really well all day, with no flaking or smudging as I have read in some reviews. In fact, I had to rub over it with a remover wipe a few times before it budged.
However I didn't really rub my eyes, so I should test this out when I have hayfever haha. It also sets pretty quickly, so if you accidentally touch straight after it wont smudge.
Practiced my doodling... but not a very good one haha but you can see that you could do all sorts of things with this eyeliner.

I got the Kate lipstick for 9.95 from Priceline & The Maybelline Master Precise Eyeliner for 7.95 (originally 12 I think) from Big W but depending on where you live the prices will be different. I recommend both of these products if they are what you are looking for!

Thanks for looking!
xx
