How to perfect your lipstick | Pictorial

Imagen
Sometimes just chucking on a lipstick isn't going to cut it, especially with some formulas that like to make their way over your face, or does that just happen to me? I've found that applying my lipstick this way, using different lip liners & doing it in different layers helps it to stay put & last a lot longer, too. This is not something that I do everyday but when I have time & I'm wearing a bolder lip colour I like to spend a bit more on the lips. 1. Line just outside of your natural lip line with a lip liner that is close to your natural colour if you prefer a fuller lip. Tip: If you're going for a nude lip, use a colour slightly darker than your lipstick. 2. Apply your lipstick of choice. It doesn't matter if you don't cover up the liner completely as we'll be going over that again. Make sure to really press your lips together to work the lipstick in. Tip: Use a lip brush with the first coat which helps the lipstic

Small Big W Haul + Winter Boots

Imagen
If you're unaware of what Big W is, it is a store in Aus much like K-mart, Target etc. Anyway we went up to the city the other day & pretty much the only shop we had time to go to was Big W. Since Winter is approaching over here for me, I was inspired by Aria @ Make-me up   to go on a boot hunt. Originally I found a pair I liked from the shoe shed but I found these & couldn't justify spending $70 instead of only $30! I also preferred to buy boots in the store so I could try them on and then if they didn't fit I'd have to send them back blah blah all that mucking around so I found these & I quite liked them I also had time to have a quick look at the cosmetics, & lucky for me there were quite a few specials so I got this Rimmel Lipstick (My first Rimmel item =)) & CG Lipstain (Which I had wanted for agess & since it was about $6 cheaper I had to get it) & Also 2 FOA items- Impact-full Volumising Mascara & Blush in Outback Primrose. not the

Smokey Pink 2.0 + Tutorial

Imagen
Ages ago I did a smokey pink look & I wanted to recreate it to make it look a bit more dramatic... even though I don't think it's that much more dramatic I liked how it turned out & I thought, why not make a tutorial again. So Yeah... :)  1. Apply your eye primer. I used TFSI . I also put some tape on the outer corner. 2.Apply your colour base all over the lid. I used NYX JEP in Milk + Slate. Blend out. 3. Apply your pink all over the lid. I actually didn't mean to cover the slate part =/ so if you want it more intense only apply over the milk 4.Apply your chosen darker shade to the outer lid, patting it on outwards & diagonally. Blend with the pink as you go. 5. Apply more if needed & blend into the crease. 6. Remove the tape, Apply pink to the lower lash line & the gray into the outer corner, sweeping it up to get rid of the harsh line from the tape. 7. Add some black into the outer v to darken it up 8. Add your eyeliner & tightline  9. Highlight,

Quick Tip: Extra Virgin Olive Oil on your skin?!?

Imagen
Olive oil , or more specifically Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a great makeup remover & is also very moisturizing!  I use every Extra Virgin Olive Oil every night as a moisturizer, for my eyes & my face. After I wipe off my makeup with makeup wipes & use my cleanser, I pour some EVOO onto a cotton bud & apply it to my face much the same way as a toner, & in a way it is a toner because it helps to remove extra makeup that didn't quite want to budge. & Then I rub it into my skin like you would with a moisturizer. I find that it's particularly great for removing stubborn eyeliner & waterproof mascara, & it is great for conditioning the eye lashes as well. If you're too scared to use it like that, you can always use it only as a makeup remover for the face, and/or eyes & then use your cleanser after wards. Also I would like to note that I have dry acne prone skin, but using this does not cause any more breakouts for me then I usually get (&
